Retainer Fees

There are two main types of payment styles for attorneys: contingency fee and retainer fee. In a retainer fee attorney-client relationship, the attorney is given a certain amount up front, which they then draw from at their hourly rate as they work on the case.

Most auto accident cases do not use the retainer fee method because it can be difficult for accident victims to come up with the retainer amount in order to proceed with their claim.

However, if there is a situation where you think you would be more comfortable hiring Matthew G. Miller on a retainer fee basis for your claim, he can certainly discuss that type of payment agreement with you to agree on an appropriate retainer amount for your case.
